On a Facebook personal profile there are a number of privacy settings for Notes. These settings control who can view the note, who can make comments and who is permitted to subscribe to a person’s notes.
It appears this is not the case with Notes published to a Fan Page. So just what does this mean? Are Fan Page notes visible to everyone by default or do they inherit the privacy settings of the Page administrator?
Although it makes sense for notes to be public there’s a case to be made for giving Page admins more control over who sees what. For example a page admin may want to create notes as value-added content only available for Page fans. It appears this is currently not an option.
