Are you just too busy to tackle social media marketing? Constantly running up against deadlines and demands that make life stressful? In this post I’ll show how real estate agents generate efficiency and momentum by reusing and recycling blog content.
In a previous post I mentioned that blogging is the engine room of social media content creation. Here, then, are 13 ways a single blog post can be used and reused to give your marketing credibility, purpose and substance.
- Rewrite in the third person as a press release.
- Slightly rejigged as a beaut article in a snail mail newsletter.
- Include it unchanged in an e-newsletter.
- Take five minutes and turn it into a letter to the editor of your local paper.
- Make it a chapter or section of an e-book about real estate in your area.
- Read and record it as a podcast.
- Or a YouTube video.
- Copy and paste it as an entry to your Facebook business page.
- Send it out in bite sized chunks as a bunch of tweets.
- Print it onto brochure stock as a page in your listing kit. Include the address of your blog.
- Reuse number 10 as a home open handout.
- Collate it with a bunch of other posts and deliver a seminar about your real estate specialty.
- Put a series together as a mini-book about investing, developing or another real estate topic.
Looked at in this way blogging makes great sense. By reusing and recycling blog content agents can quickly build a reputation as a reliable source of information about their real estate specialty.
